Ikigai – A “Reason For Being”

Hi there! Welcome to my blog. First of all, sorry for being MIA! Frankly speaking, I’m not sure if I’ll ever get back to blogging again until suddenly, I was triggered to give it a shot again. In the past few months or a year, I was busy adulting—working on weekdays and even on weekends while gallivanting with friends or family in between—that I totally neglected “blogging”.

So, here’s a quick story why I’m back at it again: At an event we’ve sponsored, there was a speaker who spoke about “Ikigai”. The latter was about the Japanese belief to find our own sense of purpose or our so-called “reason for being”. It didn’t hit me that hard that time until one day, while I was reminiscing my travel posts, I suddenly felt like there’s this missing chunk of my “reason for being”. It’s not exactly about traveling nor blogging but perhaps, I just needed a “personal space” where I can share whatever or anything about my life. And that is where I can further dwell on what my reasons for being are. Given that, allow me to give you a glimpse of my universe through this cyper space.

Thanks to Z.com for my domain and web hosting. They got one of the lowest price in the market 😉

I’ll try my best to be active again, cheers!
